Epilepsy Awareness
Price range: £40.00 through £400.00
This course is aimed at those working with or who have a responsibility for the welfare of individuals with epilepsy. The course gives learners the underpinning knowledge in developing an understanding of epilepsy. It provides an insight into the different types of seizure and enables the candidate to feel more confident in not only providing physical support but also emotional support.
Course syllabus:
- Different types of seizures
- Guidelines for treatment of epilepsy
- Medicines and their side effects
- Recording seizures
- Effective First Aid for epilepsy
- Status epilepticus
- Buccal Midazolam
Duration: 2.5 hours
Assessment: CDT Training Services written assessment paper. Each successful learner receives a CDT Training Services certificate of completion

Open (public) courses: £40.00 per person
In house (at your site):

Number of learners – maximum of 12, any additional learners (above the 12) are charged at a rate of £30.00 per person.
