Food Safety Awareness
Price range: £40.00 through £400.00
This course is designed for anybody wishing to have an awareness in food hygiene and is ideal as a refresher for those staff who have already undertaken the foundation level (one day) course. This can also be used for those staff who have no direct contact with food but are still involved in food handling as in the health and social care sector. Each successful learner receives a CDT Training Services certificate of completion.

- Legislation
- Types of bacteria/contamination
- Causes and prevention of food poisoning
- Temperature guidelines
- Food Pests and Pest Control
- Cleaning and Disinfection
Duration: 3-hours
Assessment: CDT Training Services written assessment paper

Number of learners – maximum of 12, any additional learners (above the 12) are charged at a rate of £30.00 per person.
